Leadership
Each of our 15 branches has its own management team. These are the people leading the company.
John Petrachek
President & General Manager · Toronto
John Petrachek began his career in industrial, commercial and institutional roofing in 1993 as a representative with a roofing manufacturer, and purchased Atlas-Apex Roofing in 1999. His vision has always been to stay ahead of the competition by delivering outstanding customer service and communication. He is a member of the Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Association, the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants, the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association and the National Roofing Contractors Association, and has lectured on key industry topics at venues across Canada. He also created the V.I.P. Foundation, which helps individuals and families in need at a local level.
Steve Murray
Executive Vice President of Operations · Toronto
Steve Murray has been with Atlas-Apex Roofing for over 20 years. He oversees the day-to-day activities of the project managers, purchasing agents and health and safety officers, along with more than 150 roofing, sheet metal and support staff. He has completed all three levels of training required to sit on a Joint Health and Safety Committee, as recognised by the Ministry of Labour and the WSIB in the construction sector, and is a member of the Risk Assessment Committee with the Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Association.
